Folks have had Raptors for a while and have put some miles on them and now that the 6.2L Raptors are about to be delivered...

What would you Raptor owners like to tell Ford about this special vehicle?

Here's my initial feedback:

* Brighter headlights (as an option is fine)
* Driving lights!
* Tailgate lock/unlock with truck lock/unlock
* Lock/unlock functions built into the key rather than a separate fob
* Headrests need to be adjustable (fore & aft)

* Front locker!
* Weatherproof 12v outlet inside the back of the box
* Install a couple electrical outlets - one inside the cab and the other in the back of the box (heck, if the FJ Cruiser has 'em we can too!)
* Make space under the hood for a 2nd (dual) battery
* Make the turn signals blink three times if you tip the turn signal lever (the German cars do this)

The SYNC gives us a lot of harddrive space and a great navigation system. It also needs to give us the ability to download detailed Topo (topographic) maps so we can navigate as easily offroad as we do onroad!

Well I guess my only contribution to this thread that I would tell Ford is hurry the hell up and get my truck finished:)

I want a factory supercharger that will work with the off-road mode etc...

Other things the factory could make money off me selling:

roof rack set up for 4 to 6 off road HIDs
tubular bumpers with a no-kidding skid plate
50+ gallon fuel cell
Flared fenders that are one-piece and completely painted
I would give up towing capacity for a softer rear-end

I agree with MagicMtnDan regarding the weatherproof socket in the trailer

Finally, I'll list the biggest things Ford got right:
suspension
seats
nav / sync
controls
transmission
stance

+1 on all of these. I have not driven one at night (test drive), but more light is NEVER a bad thing, can always use a front locker, and my wife's G8 does the blink 3 times and I love it and catch my self doing that when I change lanes in other vehicles.

Here are the two things I can think of:
-Bigger fuel tank (several other ext. cab 1/2 tons have bigger than 26 gallons)
-greaseable ball joints, esp lowers (wore a set out on my Ranger doing water crossings, can't get the water out if you can't get more grease in)

Better tie-downs!

There are 4 tiny tie down "rings" and 2 of them are inaccessible if you have the Bed Extender. They're so small, so low that they're essentially useless. And we're offroading in Raptors so the stuff needs to be tied down securely especially the gas can(s).

I've gotta find a better solution.
