Glad I saw this, first I've heard of it.
I've got clear and yellow SAEs on my truck and based on comparison vids of old/new it's a big improvement.

I got my SAE upgrades. Sent them October 19 so like 3ish weeks back to maple syrup land. Everything looks new and paint is the glossy type.

Only complaint is that they were loose in the box-kinda rattling around.

Cant wait for install and to see the difference. Gonna give all the wankers in cars a sunburn in their necks.

Nice! Mine came in the box just like the originals did. I returned them in the original box, maybe that's why. I think these look much better without the little windows and they definitely have better beam patter.

They were returned in a BD box. I put them in a larger box all wrapped up for the trek from Trudeauland to Cali.
