I went to about 25 different websites yesterday for dealerships down in Oregon looking for a truck to buy and ship to Alaska. I found a total of 3 Raptors and I believe all three were for sale for about $5k over MSRP. I bought one this morning for $4k over from a small dealer in a small town who told me it was their only Raptor and that they had to make a deal to get it. It was the exact truck with the exact options I wanted, so I'm happy. And the other two dealers have since emailed me to tell me their trucks are already sold. My local Alaskan dealers never even bothered to respond to my inquiries.

Who knows why, but it certainly isn't true. Talking shit for all I know.

What is your order number? How large is the dealer?

You likely have a very long wait.....

Waiting on the DORA from the order manager, just put the order in today. Dealer is a smaller one in Southern Oregon (website shows they've got like 39 F150s in stock compared to the larger dealer that's got 92). They said mine was the fourth Raptor in line and that they've gotten two that they've ordered so far. They said they weren't even going to put a time estimation on the order, but I'm not in a rush.

Still going for 5k-25k over here in New York.

Easily, Ford dealership in Hempstead has one with less options than I have on my Raptor, and they want 10K over sticker. And seems they been getting suckers to buy, there was a Gen 1 trade in for sale.

Tried every dealer in Oregon and none of them were selling at msrp. The lowest was around 5k over, some were as high as 15k. Depending on how many more Ford will make, pricing will change based on that.

In Seattle, all dealers I checked were 10K over with one even 20K over MSRP. WTF?? Then one day drove past a small hole in the wall dealer and stopped to talk to them. They were doing 4% over MSRP and all build to order. Placed my order the next day.

Hehe yeah I hear yah! I have a 15 1LE with kooks headers and mild cam.

GT350, new ZL1 and Grand Sport are all relatively close in price. Really leaning toward the Grand Sport. The ZO6 is just mean but I like the corners more than just 1/4m so the grand sport is more balanced plus I prefer manual transmission for pure fun and to get the most out of the Z06 and keep it tame....?!? That almost requires the auto.....heck the...ZL1 might be the same in that regard...!

It is possible to get a used ZO6 for $71k, that's a bargain for the level of performance!!!! If I lived somewhere warmer that would almost make sense....lol

Have you considered a Gen V Viper? I went from having 3 Vettes to the Viper in 2015. Same price range as the Z06 and if your going to use it on the track it's absolutely a blast! Just feels more special than any previous Corvette I had. The Viper is also more predictable at the limit. If you haven't driven the 1LE on the track you are missing out!

The dealers will run out of suckers soon

See here's the thing, why are they suckers? Why does the quote "a fool and his money are easily parted" apply?

The way I look at it, we are paying a premium to have the most badass truck on the market, and can afford to do so. If someone has the money to spend and are okay doing it, good on them! If you are THAT worried about 3-5k extra in financing.... maybe you have no business buying a Raptor.

LOL. I just had a salesmen tell me that they don't make any money selling at sticker.
