Honesty I didn't really pay attention to wich way it was facing haha I really don't think it matters it's gonna function all the same

If you have a 2011 or older and have the resonator removed to put the cutout in yea it's a little louder with it closed cause the resonator is used to pretty much kill any sound flowing through the exhaust

Good to know. I won't mess with it then.

Well, I'm getting there.

Got home tonight and ran the wires. Got from the cutout to inside the cab and behind the glovebox.

I dremeled the hole in the back of the AUX Switch (the toggle switch looks like it was there from the factory) and then called it a night.

Now I have to figure out how in the hell to fish the wires from the AUX box into the glovebox area so I can tap into the AUX 4 switch (brown wire) and also ground.

I'm thinking that I will use a self-tapping screw and screw into the metal substructure that the radio (center console) is attached to. With the glovebox out, it looks wide open and a good place to ground.

And ideas as to how to fish the wiring from the Aux box to the glovebox (brown wiring) with out removing the center console?

I would use that Dremal and make a tiny hole just big enough for the wires to fit through its all gonna be covered anyways that's the only thing Incan think of cause it's pretty closed off in there haha

Just ran my wires today. Way easy. If you have the glove box out. Go to the driverside of the truck and remove the bottom panel on the center console. Be careful to pull more towards the back as the front piece needs to slide back to disengage from the floor vent. Now you can fish your wires to the drivers side and up to the switch location.

I did the same thing as Fozzy, but instead of running it through the firewall and down, I found a spot on the passenger side floor where there is some black tape over a hole that leads directly under the truck. I punched a hole in the tape and dropped the wire for the cutout through there. This route leaves you tons of slack and you can put the cutout switch anywhere in the cab due to the slack you have left over.

I'm going to use silicone to seal the hole in the floorboard back up tomorrow, I just wanted to be done tonight.

I'm heading over first thing tomorrow morning to get my cutout installed. I can't wait!

That's exactly what I did.

I ran thru the floor (passenger's side) up the side by the door/aux wires, thru the glove box and down under the center console.

I drilled a hole in the back of the Aux Switch Box and it looks stock. I ran the Hot wire to Aux #2 Wire and then grounded it using an existing bolt on the frame of the radio.

When I turn on Aux #2 and then hit the toggle, she takes in a deep breath and then HOLY SHIT!!!!!
That's all I can say! These Vid's that have sound to them do this absolutely NO JUSTICE!!!

If you're on the fence about this mod, get off the fence and spend the BEST $200 you will EVER spend on your truck! She will thank you for it!

It has been mentioned before but THIS IS HOW SHE SHOULD HAVE COME FROM THE FACTORY!!! Screw the emissions! This thing is a TRUE BEAST!!!

I'll post pics later...

WOW! This thing sounds amazing. The videos on youtube don't do it any justice. It sounds like a Trophy Truck. Wife said " so now we have a hotrod?" When she first heard it.
