That's too keep the turbos spooledI noticed in Baja mode my truck only shifted at 5000 rpm.
Yes, and that's an error with my post - only baja has anti-lag, sport mode does not, and it keeps revs high too.
I thought I remembered there being more to it, and sure enough, I found this:
Baja Mode
It works with 4A. 4A+Sport mode will get you the best launch as it's pretty easy to overwhelm KO2's from a dig. It becomes extremely necessary on a tuned truck because I can light mine up very easily unless I do a rolling start.Dumb question maybe but new to the Raptor. Does sport mode only work in 2H or can I use 4A in a sport mode?
One short and one long will disable the nannies but remember Baja is designed to push the truck as quickly as possible through corners; going sideways is not quick so Baja mode will produce some grindy/jitteryness at the limit because the truck's computers are working on keeping you on 4 wheels and not your roof.Ive been out in snowy fields in baja with one long press of the tc. Maybe i need one short and one long? But ripping thru the snow getting the trk pretty light over rollers and getting the trk fairly sideways the tc kept kicking in and ruining the fun. Speeds were 50-60. Any ideas how to further shut down the tc/stab?
