Haha. Honestly i don't care! I'm glad my truck is running good now. It was humid today after the rain too. Ran nice and strong. No stumbles just nice and clean.

I believe it, but I cannot believe Ford hasn't acknowledged this ... It's crazy to me.

The dude drilling the hole saw nothing yet now has a miraculous change of performance... no one has to call BS, just no one has to believe him either as there's no credible evidence to support his argument.

This will be the most epic turn of events if y'all have been digging on sasquatch this whole time and this **** is actually right. This is like Super Bowl Tom Brady shit.

Oh I'm in on this one too. It's 28-3 in the 3rd quarter...here we go...

Is there ANY downside to drilling the hole? I saw something 2,000 posts up about losing a negligible amount of boost pressure...

And how about a petcock? Not to be confused with a pet rock. Who remembers those? Just trying to see if I can divert the thread in yet another direction. :flipthebird:

What would suffice for me is a before and after study, complete with data. Otherwise, this is he said she said.

Drilling a hole in a $70k vehicle makes no logic, and if it truly is curative, Ford needs their ass whipped.

There is no downside to the 1/16" hole. It has been proven to not harm performance or longevity. The ecoboost crowd has been running this since at least 2012, and it has proven to cure the problem. It has zero negative effects.

This has been done several times. Testing done before and after the hole and things were fine. Many years and miles on this solution with not one negative issue.
Keep in mind, previous ecoboost f150s could be bought at $70k... they all did the weep hole.

The weep hole must always stay open... no drain valve needed. You never know when it will make condensate, but when it does, you want it out right away.
