Hey guys, i'm sure there's a thread somewhere, but I wanted to shout out on this.
I'm on 35's and they're about 2/3 worn, so I'm wondering if going to 37's is a good move?
Do they Rub?

The extra clearance for trails would be nice.
and i got plenty of power with the whipple, just don't want to have to deal with rubbing issues ect.
I drive mostly on the road - any high speed issues?

if any of you guys have run them on your rig, i'd love some feedback!

Thanks :D

Sure, as long as you level it, and use factory wheels, there will be no rubbing with 37s. Or, an alternative is a Fabtech 4" lift.

I'm currently on the Fox 3.0's and am about an inch higher than mid perch.
that pic above is air'd down.
i'm on 20" wheels. would like to keep them.

So the question I guess I'm asking is: 35" to 37" is it worth it?

You're suggesting he level a Gen 1?

Yes, 37"s are going to rub.

Don't put a leveling kit on your Gen 1.
Didn't know it WAS a Gen 1. It wasn't in the post, the pic wasn't there, and I don't read everyone's signature line.

37s are probably going to rub with that setup. If you want to go a little bigger, consider the Toyo MT 315/60/20. It is 35.0" tall, and 12.6" wide.

The thread being in the GEN 1 section was not a big enough clue?

Personally, I don’t think 37s are worth it. I put some on my Gen 2, they weren’t rubbing (did some light trimming as well just in case) but I could hear the steering components working harder to move them and my transmission wasn’t shifting as smoothly (up shifting immediately due to the extra weight). I put my original 35s back on and sold the 37s to another Raptor owner. I’d only do it again if I went all in with fiberglass fenders, regearing, changing suspension components, etc. and my 35s work just fine for what I do.
