OK, just so no one here feels I didn’t have the guts to respond back to Waveslayer, here’s the reader’s digest version of what I sent to him:

1. Married ONE women (so far) his entire life. Unlike Pres. Trump, divorced twice and married THREE times. (and you say Trump is better at standing for “Traditional American/Christian Values.”) ???
2. Never got quoted bragging about grabbing women by their pu$$ies just because he could.
3. Killed Osama Bin Laden and Moammar Ghaddaffi. You probably forgot about those, huh?
4. Got us out of the Great Recession started by President Bush. Remember, the economy didn’t turn itself off on Jan 20, 2009 and magically turn back on on Jan 20, 2017. Trump has had 6 years of positive momentum to continue growing the economy on.
5. Signed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to re-regulate the financial sector, which included creating the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to protect you and me from abuses related to the banking industry. Cuz, y’know, business can regulate itself just fine, right? Wells Fargo opening millions of unauthorized accounts was just more fake news after all…
6. Signed the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure Act. More laws designed to protect you and me from greedy Wall Street/banking executives.
7. Historically low interest rates to stimulate the economy. Buy a new home, re-fi your mortgage, buy a new car with 60 months 0.5% or no interest? Try doing that under Reagan, Bush (either one) or Carter (a Democrat).
8. Won a Nobel Peace Prize.
9. At a comparable point in time (700+ days in office) had a 50.2% approval rate, compared to Trumps 39.6%. And yeah, I get you can find different numbers depending on who you survey. This seemed to be the most balanced of the few I could find (Five-thirtyeight), but I’ll admit you’ll be able to find those that show Trump has a higher rating at this time, but I bet they’d be biased towards a conservative sample.
10. Times he was laughed at on a world stage: Obama zero, Trump one.
11. Times he called someone’s mother a *****: Obama zero, Trump one.
12. Paid-off prostitutes: Obama zero, Trump 2.
13. Turnover in the Oval Office (“A Team” members): Obama, 53 over 8 years. Trump 65 over two years. Trump can't even keep his most senior staff working for him.

Now, full disclosure: Do I think Obama was the greatest president ever? Not by a long shot. I keep an open mind on this. If I had to pick a best/worst of my lifetime, I'd probably go with Reagan as best, and Carter as worst. I guess I haven't fully drunk of the 'Liberal / Democrat Kool-Aid' after all...

I see you live in Seattle. Figures. Sorry, couldn't resist. It used to be a great area. Sorry, again could not resist.

Have a great day. BTW, serious question. Not being obnoxious. How do you find the time to do all the fact finding and still enjoy life??

Eh... the reason why Trump got elected was because a lot of people were too lazy to verify facts. They based his qualifications on the entertainment value of his tweets and reaction and his obnoxious personality. You don’t get too many presidential candidates who mocks a handicap journalist at a rally and then doubles down when he gets called out.

Could it have been his opponent was a little "flakey" also. Lesser of 2 evils. This fact verification "check" you talk about. Really??? Who's facts?? The ones that support YOUR agenda. Not be argumentative, but in this day and age one can find "facts" to support any agenda he or she deems necessary.

Also, your post is inclusive of a rather large percentage of the population. Why can not we just agree to disagree and not get so offended, ie. calling people lazy, stupid, ignorant etc. Used to be we could have a civil discussion, disagree, then go have a beer and put our differences aside and enjoy each others company. It has gotten way too serious as of late. We live in the GREATEST nation in the world. In a time that has incredible opportunities for everyone.

I am not singling you out intentionally, it was just a post that got me thinking. I believe you have the right to express yourself anyway you see fit. I guess I come from the old school where "if you don't have anything good or positive to say, just shut up". With that said, have a great day. Enjoy your Raptor. Keep the wheels down.

Disclaimer. I think all of em (politicians) are bums. I just wanna go race. LOL

Yes, it used to be that way. But today facts don’t matter, only strong opinions. “But the emails...” is a distraction from discussing facts.

It’s one thing to question facts and then verify, and another to call everything fake news and stop caring if your politicians are lying to you. I talk politics with people who disagree with me all the time—we disagree on policy and strategy. But we usually agree on the facts. We have to start there or we aren’t speaking the same language.

Zmuron posted actual facts, with dates and names, that can be verified or refuted by anyone of us. If none it matters because of what Trump said on Twitter today (regarding sanctuary cities—which btw isn’t true), then I rest my case.
