No offense taken! In some ways you're SPOT on. The homeless have really ruined this place. It's just lousy with addicts, I wish there was a legal way to get them into treatment, and WANTING to succeed at it. We make it too easy on them to keep that life going though, and it looks like we're going to import Canada's idea and set up 'monitored' injection sites where they can shoot up under medical supervision. Not a lot of incentive there to get cleaned up, though they (the personnel) claim to offer treatment services as well. And all the free Narcan(R) you need!
I really do enjoy life, fortunately I'm at a point where I can only work part time, yet still meet certain 'obligations' such as feeding the Raptor, paying the other bills, and making sure full retirement, when it arrives, is well funded.
I got into fact checking after DT won the election. I turned my nose at voting for HRC, but just couldn't make myself vote for DT, and didn't see a viable 3rd party candidate. After DT won, I decided to get a better understanding of how he won the election, and why some people seemed to absolutely hate Obama despite the many good things that did happen under his admins (and I readily acknowledge the bad as well). Gaining knowledge, like any other worthwhile investment, takes time. Heck, we devote lots of time to our rides, but we consider it time well spent for the enjoyment gained. I consider the deeper understanding of recent political events time well spent also.
