Which Radar detector for '18 Raptor

Look up uniden R3. Rated number 1 on most reviews even up against detectors more expensive. Highly recommend.

I was heading for an R3 from a 9500ix but it seems like Uniden has QC issues resulting in varying degrees of performance. I'm currently leaning toward the ****** IX because of this. The R3 (when performing well/receiving a good unit) seems to me hands down a better unit but I'm not interesting in shipping units back and forth or finding out mine doesn't perform well....with a ticket!

I really want the R3 though.....

I have the Uniden R3 and it's been spectacular. Good filtering and the detection range for KA band (what most of the cops in my area use) is incredible. Using the R3 in conjunction with the WAZE app on my iPhone has saved my ass multiple times now.

Enough can not be said about Waze for sure!!!

Waze is all I run, and no tickets using it.

Bonus it saves on red light cams as well. It knows where they all are.

I run a Max360 in three of my cars (inc. Raptor). Have ALP setup on a couple others (with the Max360) and plan to put ALP on my Raptor now that I know it's a keeper. Best combo IMO.

I have the Max 360c, so far so good. Went with the blend mount and mirror tap recommend from others on here.

Have an ****** IX which is nice (big) switching to R3 with Waze.

Let me know how you like the R3 relative to the IX. I have a 360c (as of yesterday). Would have gone with the R3 if it had autolockouts.
