I'm not say your wrong but I still don't see why it's better. In fact, by using after market shocks you are limiting down travel. A 4" suspension lift would maintain factory angles and travel. Assuming the shocks allow. I would think an icon or fox at the top setting would work well with a 4" kit.

so wait. what 4" kit are we talking about? what intended use for YOUR truck are you hoping for? what are you trying to accomplish.

i explained to you how to go up in height, safely, while maintaining a ride quality the same or better than stock and improving high speed offroad performance.

now that doesn't sound like what you're looking for. so what is it?

Right, it is to your opinion. Lifiting an IFS truck will give you advantage is some situations, and disadvantages in others.

IMO I can midagate some of the disadvantage by fabricating my own fornt and rear bumpers and other components. I firmly feel that I can fit a 37"+ tire under my truck, and that is the largest size I want to go for my Raptor, without a lift.

For my Hummer, and how I use it, if Iknew of a useable lift kit that let me fit 44" tires, you bet I would try if, but for now... knowing I can fit 37" to 38" in tires on a stock suspension, that is where I will go.

Well I am with the OP you guys say your mistakes, exactly which one of you did a 4 inch lift and did or did not have an issue? Who is we? and I am looking for anyone to say I did it and had this happen. I dont want to fight I just want to know who has it and how it worked out. Please do not say I read once about a guy, bring me that guy if it was a bad experience I would like to know how it was bad and what happened.
