real curious about these "noise's" does anyone have any updates as to the solution for the problem. hearing about all these problems is making me think twice about getting one.

Welcome mrpork. Yes the Raptor clunks squeaks is underpowered gets about 5 mpg and is mostly hype. Please please please do not buy one. (because maybe if you and everyone else stops buying them I can get a good enough deal to afford a SECOND one!!!) :):):)

Seriously, I have over 24,000 miles on mine and it's quieter on the highway than the late model BMW it replaced. In fact, I was recently contemplating buying a used car for a daily driver and after driving a couple of fairly new used cars, I decided I would not be happy. The Raptor has spoiled me.

One thing, I really haven't heard anyone complain about "developing" a clunk. So on your test drive take a few speed bumps and see if you notice anything.

The biggest concern I have is the shocks... they are expensive and the warranty is only 3/36,000. The Ford extended warranty does NOT cover the shocks. But the Ford service plan apparently does. (the one that pays for all the oil changes and regular maintenance). Keep that in mind if you're concerned... 4 new shocks will cost you about $2400 plus installation so depending on how you drive and how long you intend to keep the truck it might be worth it.
