Ford has changed this from a TSB to a recall. Just had my 24 802a with 2k updated per the recall. According to service manager , the recall/ update fixes the problem in 90% of the cases. Not sure what they are doing with the other 10%.

Did this fix the issue permanently? My 21 is out of warranty so dealer wants about $3K to fix it.

Yes, it’s a software update for 2021-2023 models. Labor time to do the updates is only 1 hour.
