I was thinking the same thing pack the inside of the nob with thick grease or petroleum jelly to keep it clean and moisture out.

Another good point....There is nothing wrong with the stockers...

That would have been my question...why should I upgrade the stock shocks in the first place?

You can ask the same thing about headers and engine performance upgrades. Why, whats wrong with the stock setup. The difference in My truck is day and night. When I got my Screw I wasnt happy with the stock ride at all in comparison to my first Scab. Then I installed the Icons and wow!!! what a tremendous difference in the ride and handling.

My ICONs are the special "winter edition" - came with an extension cord and a hair dryer. Understand that Fox's adjustable shocks will also have a winter edition, but their hair dryer is bigger. And RPG is working on a dual hair dryer set up that kicks ass...

Fred I have to agree with Hockster, was not happy with the way my SCrew felt on the road it was down right annoying at times to be honest. Now that I have changed shocks I love my Raptor and the way it rides.
For me leaf springs and bump stops would probably be a waste but the 3.0 were a good investment.

I've used my Foxes in some 10 - 20 degree weather and didn't notice any difference, still worked great!

Glad you guys enjoy...so what did that setup run $5K...I would hope there would be a difference in the ride and handling or I would want my money back...

Same with headers and other performance mods.

Bottom line gents...There is nothing that money will not fix! :sunot:
