I bit the bullet and ordered the icons through sdhq.
Don't know that they're a better performing shock than any of the others, but they seem to be the most "complete" setup for the raptor.
Adequate rear shock protection from the shin guards, coil over wraps available, aggressive bump zone in the coil overs for our limited front end travel, quieter tappets, etc.
I put a ton of miles on my truck, and real world use ability is more important than any potential theoretical advantages that the fox's may or may not have.
That said, thanks much to RPG for answering my endless questions, you all seem like great guys and I look forward to purchasing some other goodies from you.

Excellent for you! That is exactly what someone should do. Research, then make a decision based on what fits YOUR needs the best.

Congratulations! Enjoy your set up!

You bet, sdhq hooked me up :smoke2:
Very pleasant to deal with.

USPS was roughly five bills, but it beats the hell out of the brokerage that those ups pirates would have hit me with...

Now I'm trying to decide if I need me some adjustable upper a-arms.
It's a slippery slope...

The upper arms are a must...really it makes the alignment process and the ride that much better. Truth...

I gotta say that ICON's UCA's kick ass. A little pricey and worth every damn penny for their good looks yet heavy duty toughness - and then there's the adjustability factor after crashing around offroad!

LOVE THEM!!
