Hope this isn't the case on GMCs, my out-of-warranty 04 is going to my Mom when the Raptor shows up, and I need to deliver it fully functional. Has basically the same issue.

The heated/cooled seats where only an option with the "Platnium" F-150. I really would of liked this option for the Raptor.

Just got it back from the dealer...new foam seat core and heater pad installed! Works good and everything went back together nicely. I'm pleased...

Doh! I've seen repeated heater element failures from people dragging their ass in and out of the seat, rather then lifting themselves in and out. Jeep Grand Cherokee's were bad about it to the point Chrysler redesigned the bottom element pad. Since your tall I doubt you have that problem but just a thought.

Ford: "It isn't a design problem. You just aren't getting out of your seat correctly and that is not covered under warranty."

Just joking, but funny if it's failure by ass dragging.
