Heated seat problem

Thanks to @J DAMAGE i was able to FIX MY HEATED SEAT!!!! WOOOOOOOAHHHH. Just in time for the high 60 degree week ahead! lol but seriously if i can do this, anyone can and i mean anyone lol

Took my rig to the shop today - They had to order a 2nd heating element for the driver's seat.

2nd replacement in about 2 years... ESP at it again!!!

I am now on my 4th heating element for driver's seat. This truck really ****** me off at times.:rage:

Do you guys suggest removing the seat? How hard would it be leaving the seat in the truck?

This just happened to me the other day also.

Super hot on my leg , now it doesnt work.

I was expecting there to be a fuse to replace ... is that absolutely not the case here?

My button on the dash still works and stays on without turning itself off ... like I have seen some people state in this thread that theirs turns off quickly when the heating element is shorted/burnt out.

I also didnt notice a "click" after the extreme hot leg situation.

My 2011 just did the same thing it was a burned out element. Replaced under ESP now the back does not feel as hot as the base, It is working well now.
