FWIW, Harleys sound great and they only have 2 cylinders.

It isn't cylinder count that neuters the Raptor's exhaust note, but the turbos. A V8TT wouldn't sound much better than a V6TT.

Considering that it is impossible to prove (or disprove) a subjective claim, it could just as easily be argued that the EB Raptor is the best-sounding vehicle of all time; and to the person who made that claim, it could be absolutely true.

It occurred to me just a moment ago that we're arguing over different claims:

Claim 1: It isn't cylinder count that neuters the Raptor's exhaust note, but the turbos.

Claim 2: A V8TT wouldn't sound much better than a V6TT.

While you have been arguing Claim 1 (which can be substantiated), I have been arguing Claim 2 (which cannot be substantiated, as it is a subjective statement).

just so we are clear. its not an opinion the ttv6 sounds like a bag of smashed ******** being ran through one of those air dryers at the car wash.

thats such a fact, ford put a ******* speaker on the inside of the truck, just to make sure you wouldnt hear what it really sounds like.

It is basic science. Turbos work by taking energy out of the exhaust stream and use it to compress intake air. Less exhaust energy = less exciting / neutered sound. Just ask Ferrari enthusiasts what they think of the new V8 turbo's sound as compared to the N/A V8s.
