DMH Cutout - Double WOW!!!

I have the HPE kit, and mine started rattling recently, checked all the bolts/screws and everything was tight. They advised that I bend something or other and I wasn't terribly interested in tweaking any part of it so I just leave it open now.

I ran my wires through the floorboard on the passenger side which, even with the shorter cord, is plenty to reach the center console. Then I put my switch on the back side of the upfitter switch panel where it's nice and hidden. Aux 4 is as good a place as any to get power from too.

When you cut the resonator off does it hurt it? What does the resonator do?

Just quite's down the exhaust. I deleted mine with a badlhanze electric cutt out

I've given up on a DMH cutout. I've called, left messages (when it's not full), sent e-mails. I do not know how this guy stays in business like that.

yea dont waste your money on a cutout if you are gonna do any off road driving! they dont hold up well at all i destroyed mine in about 5 months! its not designed for off road use at all but the street queens love them haha

haha well that would be "you're doing it right" if it falls off lol

well maybe i just go a little harder and a little faster than the normal guy haha (thats what she said) but it just didnt hold up with all the mud sand and dirt i was driving through. it could have been all those trips to texana that i had maybe it didnt like the TRR track oh well!

So how is everyone elses holding up? I was thinking about going to a turndown exhaust but have always wanted a cutout. After reading this I may go with a cutout.

Just wanted some feed back from you guys who have had them on longer than 6 months. Looking at the badlanzhpe one....
