That is exactly how I would describe my issue.

My issue has gone away. Let me be very clear up front...never did I feel this was a condensation issue. Average humidity is probably around 10% and I never felt a hard studder as described by the first gen ecoboost owners. My issue was as described in the above quote.

My truck now accelerates very smoothly and it is noticeably stronger even at part throttle. Coincidentally (or not) I just past 1500 miles. No other changes.

Exactly- thankfully people are catching on to this. This is step one to a better ecoboost ownership experience.

No no no!! No holes were drilled. I guess I wasn't very clear in my post. No changes to the vehicle, no holes drilled, but the minor problem went away. Maybe it was the computer pulling timing and boost during the break-in period. Don't know. Truck does have just over 1500 miles now.

Huh. Quick test drive just now. Its actually smoother. Not sure why though. Still bone dry. Nothing came out of the hole.

Can you post a video walking up to your truck then showing us the hole location?

I want to believe it works, but before I drill a hole on a 70K truck, I want to make sure you're not Sas77 just trolling under a new name

This way I can see that it is indeed a 2017 Raptor you've drilled

OK, maybe that's an exaggeration. BUT...I have noticed while in regular dive mode, not sport, when I hit the gas mid to upper throttle, it surges. It's just not a nice, linear acceleration. It just feels like it's slightly missing, like either ignition or fuel related. Are others experiencing this?

I'm running mid-grade fuel by the way.

You are not crazy and I have noticed it regardless of which octane fuel I run. It definitely happens more/worse on lower octane fuels, but it doesn't completely go away on 93 octane.

Seriously, right

Who TF goes thru all the trouble to post a pic to get others to F up their trucks

Such a shit show

A schizophrenic who has at least one narcissistic personality manifesting a passive-aggressive fixation on a particular issue or topic. These manifestations buttress a semi “bubble” of reality for the person in this state. This altered reality slowly supplants the real one over time. As the fixation on the trigger or issue grows, the manifested personality escalates. Right now, ’77 is only in the early stages and could be helped with professional medical help.

The Moderators have a ticking time bomb on their hands with ’77 because as he/she escalates their behavior, it could result in stalking, harassment, frustration that others don’t “believe” the altered reality and escalation takes that person into the realm of dangerous.

I hope it doesn’t come to that, and hope he/she gets that professional medical help.

It is kind of crazy how many videos you find on YouTube. Look at all the condensation during reving.

I'd still never do this unless if it was actually a TSB from Ford.
