Hey Jackemuphigh, yes call Jarrett, I'm sure he can work with you. You might want to talk to him about the heavy duty ones though if your running a rack. It seems there is a problem with the arching on the first generation springs that I'm sure Jarrett is going to address. I think we're up to 5 including us who were heading toward squatting dog status. He did replace ours.

My first set of deavers sacked out in 5,000 miles... It's the nature of the beast with leafs. I think National is getting a bad rap in this thread and people are electing to forget that this hasn't been uncommon to both leaf manufacturers.

The good news is both companies seem to stand behind their products and willingly replace the sacked springs.

You are absouletly correct.. The issue is the -1.5" national std the RPG was offering (no longer an option) do NOT work with the Raptor. Jarrett (RPG) is resolving the issues with these springs.

Like tizz said. Sacked springs are part of the game when you goto progressive leaf packs.

Cool fact! They don't have to be replaced, they can be re-arched.

Deaver and National aren't in the business of selling springs for daily drivers. They are in the business of selling springs for racers and prerunners. Who generally, 1. Live closer to them making it easier to get them re-arched. 2. don't carry a bunch of bed weight, preventing some of the issues. 3. Will get springs re-arched before they sack out.

Also, everyone that was having issues with these springs on the run. There is a good chance that once you get the 500 lbs of snow off and the 500 lbs of gear out, they will probably go back to stock height.

I have about 25k on the HD Nationals and even hauled a load on the ranch a few times. Truck is still level on the top perch. When in doubt always buy the HD--in this case they still ride better than the 2 leaf factory rubber bands lol.

50,000 miles on just the Deavers? How many do you have total now?

I had 65,000 on my 5.4 and I have put 20,000 on my 6.2 since July. Put the Deavers on the 5.4 at 12,000 miles. I like to drive!!!

Deaver did change some things on my spring pack as they got more feedback and each time was better than the previous. When I sold that truck the final setup I had was working well.

As of today I still have sack assed springs on my truck. No new (rearched) springs from RPG or response to PMs/emails..

I know call them, but I rather have email documentation because my memory is for shit (old age). This way I can have proof of what was said, just the way I like doing things..

I'll trade you my +2 Deavers with roughly 5,000 miles on them for your new set of Nationals. We split shipping costs.... Serious about this.
