B, I think you are being a little too defensive. This isn't anywhere near a witch hunt. I love RPG and they've always been helpful and accommodating. We were the first that I know of to call them about getting our springs re-arched. Thinking this was isolated to our truck. They sent us a new set. Turns out now that we know that the ones we, Greg, us, etc had were arched under stock height(ours and gregs were put on the same day). They have since changed the design. We all understand that springs can Sak out, but stop being pissed of at people who are upset about saked springs within 10-15k miles because they started low. If this were a witch hunt, we wouldn't want replacements, we would shit can them and go with something else. I have every confidence in Jarrett, RPG, And National. But that doesn't mean that everything is fine with the arch of these early springs as you are suggesting. Greg might be a little upset and overzealous right now, but maybe quite with the deny and bully act and let Jarrett handle his own business.

Thank you Nicole, just frustrated with the while deal... 2497 miles on those springs was awful.. Slamming the bump stops on the relatively smooth trails and driving down the road. Normally the Raptor drives and rides great, but dealing with this and not wanting to drive or be in the truck, irks me just a tad.

I did not get the revalved bump stops at the snoball 500 like I was told. This would have helped a little than what I had. And to be told today, "be patient, we are slammed right now. And behind on spring orders and we don't know what we are going to do with you."

At least there is nothing going on until April .

Greg is that your truck sitting on the ground. low rider, no wonder you changed your name to squatting dog. ok at least your not stuck in the garage and it still drives just don't do any off roading until fixed. All those that's like asking a crack head to stay clean for an hr.

I know right.. But the first bump i hit reminds me with a jolting crash... I will take gradual failure or catastrophic failure, anyday..

I'm sorry you had to go through this Greg. National is building you an HD set to accommodate your future bed rack so you won't have to go through this again. RaptorAddict is a very good example of this. Kirks rack is very heavy and his ride height has remained perfect because he was given the proper spring for his setup, so you should be no different with the new spring.

The major issue was we arched the springs to low in the first place. I just want everyone to know this isn't an issue with National, but rather a decision made by RPG when we first started. National has built springs for 40 years on anything from huge water trucks to Class 8 racetrucks. We no longer send them out that low, so it hasn't been and issue for many months now and are doing everything we can to help those who aren't happy with their ride heights get them to where they want to be.

God knows we've made some blunders throughout the past year or so, and we try to learn from every one of them to make both our products, and our partner’s products better with every production run. It’s good that this stuff makes it to the surface for all the vendors, we would never get better if issues stayed submerged and out of the public discussion.

For example, I am very happy I was able to go on the Snoball and see the type of terrain and manner in which many of our customers use their trucks outside of CA, AZ and NV. I actually learned a lot and will make sure we start to apply some of those changes for the rest of the market. One thing I found interesting was the 2" of ice built up on the shocks. I'm not use to getting out of the truck and being able to touch them, let alone having them feel like ice cubes. We are going to spend some more time in the CA mountains to get our cold weather setup dialed in and will pass along the info to everyone else. I didn't really touch my bypass tubes on the run so it will be a cool learning experience that should really help out the cold weather setups.

Anyway, I'm sorry Greg for your headache. This was RPG’s screw up and not National. You've always been great to us and would never want to jeopardize that relationship.

I always try to stay away from bashing any FRF vendor, especially one that has been great to its customers. That is why it was getting frustrating because it is out of the normal/character for RPG.. Black widow will be back beating the hell out of the vendors products at TRR!
