No. They are only intended to be serviced during an engine repair, such as turbocharger replacement.

They do not filter oil like a conventional oil filter, it’s just an inline mesh screen. If they are contaminated with debris or metal, that’s the result of neglect (poor maintenance) or a larger failure, at which point the screens are the least of your worries.
so buying a used raptor and not 100% on all service history on oil changes and such, is this a pretty easy part to replace just to be on the safe side? Or is this a pretty big job?

Disturbing that line is asking for it, unless replacing with all new seals, screens or full race upgrade. Torque everything to
Spec etc. a lot of work to do it on a maintenance schedule.
An argument for using PAO based oil w/ high detergent, in a decent oci and good filter appears in this context. I would argue that to be a more holistic way to remedy the concern.

Luckily I have the oasis report and all the service history and recalls done, even the sunroof repaired. The truck was serviced at ford until the last 8000 miles when it was traded in. So I have a great service history and the records even show in ford pass which I was pretty glad to see that as well. I didn’t know ford pass would pull in everything like it has. I also have an extended warranty for 30,000 miles or 24 months. The filter question was just for knowledge , appreciate the help on here always.
