If you want to be smart I can play that game too. Very, very few of us have seen ANY color of raptor in the flesh. You look at the same colors of cars and need to either photoshop it or use that thing we call an imagination.

Pictures are a TERRIBLE way to select a truck color, you need to see the color in the flesh. The magnetic raptor looks different in various lighting situations, same thing with the avalanche. Carry on

I wasn't being "smart". I misread your first post and didn't realize you'd differentiated between regular F150s and Raptors.
My apologies for missing that.

Has anyone been able to track their order yet? Too soon still?

Yep. Too soon. Production doesn't start until next month. However, I got an "anticipated delivery date" FROM FORD of 10/3-10/6. Who knows how accurate that is.

That would be awesome! When did you order?

7/25. Per Ford, it's "in order processing". When I asked how close they typically are with regard to estimated delivery dates and actual delivery dates, he said "very close".

Again, I'm taking it all with a grain of salt, but that's what I was told from Ford, not the dealership.

This is what I received from FORDSERVICE

"Hello Lee,

My name is Tricia, and I’m one of the U.S. Ford Customer Service Representatives on this forum. I checked on your order, and the status is “In Order Processing.” This means that your order has been received, successfully edited, and is awaiting scheduling action. Once your vehicle receives a schedule to build day, it should then get a VIN. Everything looks in order and it should schedule within a couple of months depending on your dealer’s allocation.

Please continue to check in with us or your sales manager for updates.

Tricia"
