Mine is stock now, but I am considering going to the middle. Good thread, lots of info, thanks to all that contributed here. :)

Ok go a question I don't seem to have the right size for the front shock mounting bolts it's bigger than a 20mm which is the biggest I have haha so if anyone could tell me what sizes I need to get so I can do this I would really appreciate it thnks guys

How do you all feel about this spring compressor...it looks 100% secure with the u bolts.

I would rather spend money on tools as opposed to paying someone to perform the work.

Or maybe a larger unit like this.

any opinions from guys that have performed this?

I don't know where you're located but around here you can just go borrow spring compressors at your local auto part store with a refundable deposit. Worked fine with me. Make sure you get the macpherson strut compressors.:waytogo:

Go to an auto zone and rent a spring compressor and then get a extra set of hands to help push up n hold the spring while u loosen the Allen head screw then bump it up to second perch then tighten it then ur good forthr 3rd perch u might. Need to remove it completely

Thanks guys but the spring compressor is not a problem I have acces To one of those I was asking about bolt sizes to remove the shock assembly from the truck I think someone said that one of te bolts was a size 27 mm but not sure
