So is that an option and then the standard 2H, 4H, and 4L is the other option?

Correct! I think it's pretty cool. I have been on questionable roads but not sure if I need to be in 4H. But the 4A setting will give you all-wheel drive when you loose traction. This is is the way I understand it.

I think this is a badass idea. 4A is amazing on ice and snow covered roads. All 3 of my vehicles are AWD and I would never own another vehicle without it. Yes, it is that good. Its actually a "smart" system over the dumb 4H. It snows 9 months a year where I live so I deal with a lot of crappy roads. What makes the Raptors system so good is it can do everything from standard 2wd to 4Hi and 4A when you need a better system to deal with shady roads at speed. Hopefully Ford nails it with this system.

2017 Raptor V6 is Like Offfering a Mustang GT V6

Call me a whiner, call me a complainer, but I think I am a realist. I am all in for a new Raptor, but really, no V8 Option? It's like going to a dealer and leaving with a Mustang GT V6. I totally understand all the facts and research. All of the chat about torque, horse power, towing capacity, etc. I get it. I have owned two of these wonderful trucks, a 2010 with a 5.4 and a 2013 with a 6.2. I am not talking about the juice, but you gotta have a V8. I am driving an Eco Booster 3.5 365 Horsepower Explorer Sport now, granted the thing has great pick up, however, it still sounds like my Father's Cadillac in 1975. I understand the window may still be open for an optional V8, why screw with something that's not broken?????

It's a choice whether or not to own a Raptor with a V6. And everyone will have an opportunity to vote with their wallets when the time comes. :)

I am sorry but that pole prob means nothing too Ford. They are not going to spend ten of millions to develop a V8 for the next Raptor to satisfy the small % of enthusiast.

Now I did read a rumor that at some point in the future that Dodge will have a Dodge Ram 1500 Hellcat. Now that would be insane. But again, Dodge is struggling to sell the Viper. So much that the assembly line had to stop as there was too much product. Dodge also dropped the MSRP by $15,000 to encourage buyers. A V10 American icon and no one wants one.

Just the small pole on this forum proves the entire point. Voting with the wallet is one thing, Ford listening is another.
