You know there are no requirements to read any thread you don't want to right?

Asking for threads to be closed because you don't like them leads to threads you do like being closed by those who don't.

You do know that nobody is stopping you from going to FR2, right?

I think most here are really over expecting. It will outperform the current one by a fair bit. Its not going to hang with mustang gt.

I don't care to hang with a mustang, but I do think it should roast a tuned F150 eco (without a tune required on the Raptor)

the new GT is a 400k super car, anyone comparing the the raptor to the GT is in for well deserved disappointment. To me "high output" means 450/475. Beats last gen power numbers and leaves room for v8 to blow our socks off next year.

Which if I read into this means you aren't shopping right now. For those of us that are we want power. My 04 ram had more than that last vegas rumour.

In fact I am shopping now. Just not right now. I'll wait and order in December hoping for a happy b day in April. I watched gen 1 and happily participate in the beta test I know year one will be. I'll probably upgrade when the special edition rolls around.

Now there's a special edition coming? When's that coming. Is that with the V8?

I don't think we will be disappointed, because the engine is related to the GT, but they aren't going to be pumping out those kind of numbers. That's not how Ford operates, aka Dodge with the same output across platforms.

We have a good idea where they can go from the 17 F-150s. It will be more than that, but probably not significantly more.

What was the power/tq delta between Gen1 6.2's and the top motor in the last F-150s?
