There's just something to be said about "Claymore Mines." Fantastic pieces of gear...that don't discriminate. If they were only legal for trip wire detonation.

here, on frf
even if you lock your tailgate, it can be stolen in a matter of minutes.
and last i heard these things were over $4k to replace.

here is a video i made a couple months ago. i have since added a magnetic switch which will trigger my alarm system. and with the smart start module, i get notification on my cell phone as soon as the alarm goes off. remember, everything we do just makes it harder for a thief to steal, if they really want it, there is no stopping them if you arent around

Ok so insurance has helped me out and the total for the tailgate and a new door lock is 6789.00

You can't find recycled tailgates and I found out just the step is 1300 bucks

Overall I'm incredibly happy with ford, they prevented them from getting in stealing all my tools, race radios, gos and lots if other important items.

I plan on running a tire gate now and maybe figure out a way to keep valuable bolt in.... I wouldn't trust the console lock.

I use the stainless steel adjustable water hose clamps……hopefully they'll see them and pass to the next one that's easier to pop off...

Nice to know this on locking tailgates but what about the tailgate lock like the Masterlock, how are they cutting that off?
