ITT, people claiming car dealerships are the pinnacle of capitalism. Please Mr Toad, I'd like to get off your wild ride.

Former military? If so, use USAA's car buying service and you can get a good deal. You may have to order one, but the price will be good.

I have yet to see a dealer honor the USAA discount price on a 17. Would love to hear if anyone has been able to get a deal this way.

Shoot Brian an email... They sell at MSRP. Tell him you are Nic's friend and see if they have any allocations coming up. He is a straight shooter, upfront and easy to work with. He is with Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ. Worth a shot... Might also post your question on the Gen2 Facebook page as I am sure someone somewhere can help you out...

Ford isn't making the extra money off of the MSRP markup, genius.

Thanks for the #breakingNews. Where did I say they were making money off DEALER mark ups *******?

Next winning statement? I'm waiting.

SCREW, Flexible on color, beadlock wheels, 802A, Tech package. I'm a simple man.

All these dealers keep ordering Raptors with the hideous stock graphics on the side or the hood.

If this really is all you want there is probably one out there for you. There are 104 on raptorfinder.com listed as on sale that match this (Raptor Finder). How many dealers have you called?

And as others have said paying over MSRP isn't unusual for this car. Remember that the "S" stands for "suggested" and is completely arbitrary. On the plus side this car will probably have a better resale value than you're used to so it'll help balance out.

At this point might be easier to find a dealer willing to charge MSRP for an '18 allocation. Word is '18 orders start in a few weeks.

Or you might find as the '18s start getting ordered, those marked up '17 that haven't sold may continue to sit. I'd think dealers would be more willing to deal at that point.

Beadlocks are going to be tough. They were a production constraint there for a good while... so there aren't going to be all that many trucks out there with those wheels.

Don't give up man, there out there if you put the time in and call around. Took me about 2 months and calling multiple dealerships in 5 different states. Defiantly use raptorfinder.com, some will laugh at you, some will take your info and call you back. It's all a waiting game, I thought it was hopeless then I landed one at MSRP. Good luck

I was at my local dealer last Friday and they had a blue one with beadlocks on it on the ground. I got mine from there at MSRP. Give them a call. OC Welch Ford in Hardeeville SC.
