I'm 310lbs. So, by your logic, my GF would get better gas mileage because she's half my weight??? Hahahahahahahahaha

Yes. She will experience .000000000002% better fuel economy.

It's science!

He doesn't want to offroad just street and drag so why even bother? He'd be better off buying the above mentioned single cab and making it LOOK like a Raptor (with all fiberglass to save weight since Raptors are "pigs"). :banana-mario:

Why all the hate towards the guys that like to go fast? I say you can have both if you have the dough. Say what you want but Ill eventually have a stroker under the whipple with full suspension. Its not like you have to neglect one for the other. Just a more in depth build... you guys don't seem to be bothered by putting a CAI kit on but you scoff at the guy that wants to shave a few pounds. **** its free!

It smells like you hate bc you cant play... :pepper:

Take your bed off so we know you're serious about weight reduction.

Hey that Supercharger is going to weigh another 100 pounds so don't do it.
You could drill holes in our frame.

That is the question.

There is hundreds of pounds to save, but how far do you want to go?

A little bit does add up, just don't want to keep cutting til your hand falls off

as Connor at Outlaw says " there is no such thing as overkill with a Raptor".

Really I like the spirit of hot rodding, build it up the way you want.
For me I have a couple of ground rules for myself, keep it streetable, make it handle good in the dirt, get it running fast without issues, overheating and the like. How all that will look different for me than for someone else, but that's part of the fun of builds and sharing the different solutions we find to our goals.

Don't worry about my hands, we CNC a lot of this stuff! LOL

How far do I want to go...too far. LMAO

weight reduction is cool
fat heavy wheels and tires are NOT

Don't wanna be super fast, just wanna beat the guy next me...even if he's in a Raptor too. I've reduced about 120 lbs. so far; looking for more. Running on a 1/4 tank helps.

I've killed every truck looking to play. Ford's, Chevy's, Nissan's and even heavy duty diesel trucks. I still have the 100 mph limiter but everyone else does too. We straight ****'n half ton trucks with lifts and 37's.

You got a lifted truck with fat 37's? you like showing off? Better have a good excuse for when you get walked on.

Dude, if you want better acceleration, lighten up in the cab, and in the engine bay, if you take your bed off, all you're gonna do is smoke your tires and go nowhere, and I'll be laughing as my bone stock raptor leaves you in the dust
