I had the same problem but it eventually starts to work..they have it as a safety mechanism when keys sit idle for some time after 2 weeks my keys started work with proximity... this safety mechanism is for anti theft ..

Anyone have a spare lock on their 2024? I went to take the spare down and found mine missing. Dealer says all his 2024 spare locks not there.

I miss the fob feedback light more than this lock. Wish there was fix for fob feedback.

Fixed mine with 15% Ford parts discount through July and Ford points. I know it is not a big deal, but makes me feel better.

That's some serious BS with those missing spare tire locks, but at least you can't see it with the cover and there is no way anyone is getting your spare without the extension bar.
