I replaced the original K02's with the Jeep spec tire several months ago- O8884. Everything is great, and the tires do look wider than what was removed.

Although the waves are kinda odd.

Correct. I kept the same wheels going from a ford spec k02 to a jeep k02 and I occasionally rub on my rockblockz. Of coarse visually much bigger. Downside is you have a lower speed rating, going from 113mph to just over 100.
BFG says the tire specs are the same as far as size.

Speed rating is 112 for Jeep and 118 for raptor. Both are above the factory speed limiter of 107 for a gen2 (gen3 is 113)

BFG A/T K02 is probably the most successful all terrain tire of all time. So there will always be people that hate it "just because". It's kinda like the people that hate Glock "just because".
bandaid will probably be the most successful adhesive handage company of all time
monstercable will probably be the most successful rca cable company of all time
fiberglass will probably be the most successful glass wool company of all time
chapstick will probably be the most successful lip balm company of all time

just because its a name doesnt mean its the best. its the most widely used/associated so its easy to remember.

if you hate glock just because, then you probably havent been around gund long enough. it was never of the gun itself. it was the company. they backed and supported anti gun laws that specifically were targeting their own consumer market. basically a two faced company. ok, history lesson over.

while ko2 might be a popular tire, they lack in a few categories. there are several threads regarding tires here. a search will bring up several of them that you can read up on and see what people say

Let me know when you want go for a ride then.

My 71 year old mom in the back seat 8 months ago (Doing 105), "I can't believe we are going 100mph on dirt, who would have ever guessed"

My dad (who was off roading in the late 1960's) "yep"

(My mom does most the talking if you can't tell)

Maybe the problem was the pavement. I could see that.
