Usually it is the guy with a company truck, that bashes in the tailgate.

Cruises the local home improvement store..

Snags a new tailgate.

Stays out of trouble with the company..

White trucks are the most targeted because most company trucks are white, then red..

in that case I really have nothing to worry about because Molten Orange matches exactly nothing else...

Did you get this one? If so do you like it?

Yes I did and it works great. It's a lot better then ones I have used in the past and it does come with 2 keys and the keyhole has a plastic cover to prevent dirt from entering it. It gets the Blind1 5 star approval ;)

I have this one from Masterlock it's like a handcuff for your tailgate, and it's endorsed by Mike Rowe. It comes with two keys simply install it and forget about it, cheap insurance in case you forget to lock your tailgate.

One of the first investments I made for the truck (at the prompting of this forum). My 9 year old son installed it alongside a DeeZee Eazy Down tailgate assist.

I have had the Pace Edwards equivalent for about a month. I need to install it. It doesn't sound like that's 100% protection either. How bad was the wiring on it? I read the instructions and it sounds like running the wires from the tailgate to the front is okay, but getting the wires through the firewall and in to the right harness is hard.

Btw, that McGard lock gets some questionable reviews on Amazon. People find the lock on the ground and their tailgate missing, etc.

check my build thread for writeup
