just watched how easy it was to remove the tail gate and i immediately ordered the master lock one off of amazon for less than 14 bucks. truck is being built on 12/17!

I ordered it too. Think it was $12.99, and free 2-day thanks to Prime.
didn't seem to attach as solidly as I expected with the velcro, but haven't noticed any rattles.
the day after I installed it, we visited Six Flags for Holiday in the Park and had to park in the boonies of their lots.
A guy in a "normal" F-150 SuperCrew parked next to me, and said, "I'm not too worried about my truck now, parked by that nice Raptor. the thieves will pass right over me".

Anyone buy and use the tuffy model and can comment on it?

I am leaning towards that one, since you dont have to have a key that might get lost or anything. I also like that tuffy makes security type stuff for automobiles.

Thanks.

I installed the McGard yesterday. I took all of 5 minutes. Most of that time was spent looking for a pair of scissors to cut the little plastic sleeve down from 11 to 10. All it is, is a fancy hose clamp that uses a special bit ( included ) to tighten.

Works as advertised.

I have the McGard also, put I feel the metal band is a bit thin in the gauge department, almost pryable, but I still give it a thumbs up, its a nifty and low priced device that will deter a thief for a bit.

I agree ...I put one of these on I'm sure with a large prybar you could get this off ...the master one looks a bit more durable :secret:
