If you are really into the deep shine and want to take the time to use a paste which always contains the highest amout of wax this is the very best I have ever used and it is on sale! I as luck would have it bought some a couple of weeks ago and it was not on sale. This wax very seldon goes on sale.

Pinnacle Souveran™ Carnauba Paste Wax shimmers on black paint, dazzles on red paint. World's Finest Carnauba Wax. Car wax, carnuba car wax, paste wax, pinnacle wax, paint protection, car wax for black car, wax for red car

Not to say the BF system is not a great product I have used it in the past but this one is what looks best on the dark colors (most of my vehicles are black). I like the deep shine along with the protection that it provides.

I see you guys arent fans of what the OP was pitching, but just to throw my two cents in here, I went with Opti Guard and my truck looks SO much better now. It cleans super easy too. I dont know if it will last forever like they say, but best I can compare it to is like a Rain-X for the paint. It is also applied to the plastic and graphics. They guarantee it to never fade, and since I plan to keep this truck forever, I guess we will test their claim! LOL

Boss, one thing you said about Ruger not being a "car guy" I have to disagree to a point on. Im a car guy, but I enjoy spending my time driving the Raptor and Shelbys and the SHO, not washing and cleaning them. I dont believe that makes me less a car guy than anyone else. We just differ in respect to how we spend our time with cars and trucks. I cant stand sitting at a car show, or couldnt give a shit about getting an award or some concours gold whatever you call it, but I enjoy looking at cars at car shows once or twice a year. Others consider a well spent Sunday with the car a good 3 hour detail job to keep it as shiny as possible. or maybe take in a car show once a month and accumulate awards and accolades....not my cup of tea, but I acknowledge the breed of car guy that does that.

In fact, I would consider that the main difference between SAAC guys and Team Shelby guys, one group prefers trailer queening, the other prefers being two wheels off turn 4 at their favorite track.

But we ALL love cars, or we wouldnt be here.

I did find this forum and did some research on this particular product before I did it...cant find any negatives about it.

Welp, gonna have a project in a few weeks Boss Hoss, ordered Souveran, Wolfgang Sealant, and Pinnacle Clay. All for $125 Autogeek sale plus coupon code cd10 gets you an extra 10% off.

Gonna clay, then seal, then layer Souveran on top for the deep rich glow

Ferris you do have a point about being a "car" guy and I will secede that inference. Some of us enjoy working on and getting the satisfaction of having a vehicle look AND be protected as good as it can be. The product that you are using may look good and how it will protect you off road is a different story. My trucks are not street queens that go off road just to have fun with a few times a year along a defined track like the Texas Event earlier this year. Mine go through brush that likes to scratch things (big sink holes that eat Chevys! See below) and even though the truck has been purchased to do that over the last 30 years using different methods the level of protection to my paint is as good as it can be.

For example the stickers on these trucks would not last 5 minutes with dead mesquite or cedar scraping them no matter what magic potion you use. Some people are not physically (lol if I gain much more weight I may not) able to provide the level of care to the vehicle so does that make them less of a car guy? No it does not---the point that was being made is that yes you can provide a outstanding level of protection for the paint that most are not either aware of or may not care to provide either using their own labor and equipment or someone else’s. In my case, it would be rather expensive to have my vehicles maintained by a 3rd party on a regular basis plus it is something I take pride in doing myself.

Not very many people here drive the truck like I do because the Raptor is not a ranch vehicle period. The HD springs RPG put on are a big help because now I don’t worry about having to haul a light load…

Call me and we can do it at my house if you want to using my equipment. The only thing is we have to start early because we don't want the sun when we are using the clay. The sealent needs to sit and cure preferably for 24 hours.

So something to think about--you can clay and so the sealent the day before then do a hand wash or go to where I get mine washed then we can put the Souveran on for the final deep gloss shine.

Always willing to help someone learn how to make it look as good as it can AND protect it.... Then you can post pictures!

I like your sinkhole! And your right- that brush is most unfriendly!!

I dont take my Raptor offroad on our ranch in Gillette for that very reason!

But TRR is not as bad with the brush in most areas.

I use both the Black Fire sealents and the Pinnacle Souveran and the car glows. Love it
