Audio and Recent Call buttons disable when android auto connects

Just started today. No idea what happened. I noticed phone is called 'passive' in connected phones.

No idea. Tried searching but I'm on mobile so apologies if covered. Pic attached.

I did a soft reboot of sync, didn't help.
