I could rewire and reverse my wiring so that red is ground and black is hot, but when the second light comes in from back order is wired correctly I will have the same problem.

you can cut the wires and reconnect them the right way, or if you can pull the pins out and switch them too

Those plug ends on the light are sealed up don't think they can be changed without opening up the light and resoldering.

you cant do it on the other end?

Still having problems with my light :whymewhyme:
I plugged a D2 into my wiring and it lights up but will not light up the 4" so as nobusa suggested I swapped the pins around, very easy to do, well the light still does not come on and fuse blows. The light works when I use the plug and play harness wired directly to a second battery.
So the wiring works and the light works, just not together. What the Hell?

Edit: I have a correction to make with the pins swaped the light just wont come on but does NOT blow the fuse as it did previously with the pins the other way.

Kinda sounds like something is grounded out. Does it still go pow if the light isn't hooked up?

Does not blow a fuse when light is unplugged.

The crazy thing is, that switch and wiring harness that wont light up the 4" light will light up a d2 if I plug it in.

I called Rigid and they seem to think that a 4" E series needs more ground then a D2 and that's why the D2 works with this harness and not the 4" light.
Anyway I am willing to try anything so I disconnected the ground cut some shrink tube off scratched it up and mounted in a different spot, still nothing.

more ground??? doesnt make sense. you were at a factory ground point. the only way to get a better ground it the (-) at the battery. but i dont see that making a differece. what appens if you connect to the car battery directly?

If I use the plug and play harness with a battery the light comes on.
I will post more pics.
