Yes I tried a spare D2 light that draws a little more and it works fine, so I think I can eliminate the wiring. Rigid E-series 4" draws 1.18 amps and D2 draws 1.8 amps.
Just for the heck of it I will hook up two D2's and see what happens.

I have come to the conclusion that something is wrong with the light and will ship it back to Rigid tomorrow for a tear-down.

SO, you just told us that you have a single 1.8 amp light hooked up to a 10 amp switch right?

No a 1.18 amp light blew a 10 amp fuse and then a 15 amp fuse. The 1.8 amp light is the D2 which works fine.

Strangely enough it does
Never thought to touch the wires while it was on plus it would blow in a mater of seconds.

Thanks Alex, Rigid will look after every thing, that's the kind of company they are, lifetime guaranty.
Glad to hear your having fun and your trips going well.

I'm pretty sure he's 100 % sure, he was the one that did all my wiring for me, hood led, roof led , fogs everything. He knows what he's doing so its gotta be a faulty light!

Hey! This light has been such a pain, I've second guessed every connection, took it all apart and put it back together again tested and retested. I also had two other people that know their shit look at it and they said stop wasting your time, somethings wrong with the light.
