Loud clanking noise

So when the light turns green and I accelerate hard and hit dips crossing an intersection, I hear loud metal to metal clanking noise when my rear suspension compresses. It only does it when I’m under hard acceleration, taking off. It doesn’t do it if I’m already at speed and going through the dips. Is it my leaf springs I’m hearing smacking each other?
