It's 100% exhaust overrun. First time I experienced it was in "Normal" exhaust mode while lifting off the throttle on an incline, and I thought something broke because it was unexpected :)

I like it. Can't really induce it the same way you can on an F-Type or some BMWs, but "burble tunes" are so ******* annoying and overplayed at this point that I'm more than okay with it being occasional.

I thought there was a binding/pop noise in the rear suspension and quickly figured out it was the exhaust

Hey hi all, I’m new here! I just got a new raptor about 2 months ago (2024, 35 package, shelter green) and have about 800 miles on it.

I’ve noticed since about day 1 that every once in a while (maybe about once per drive) I’ll get this metallic kind of clunk noise. It almost sounds like metal popping back into place with a sort of ping noise to it. I got under the truck and looked at the skid plate and the plate that protects the axel and couldn’t find anything that felt loose or looked strange.

Does anyone know what it might be? Has anyone else experienced this noise? Thanks!
Look for a little clamp towards the driver’s side of where the drive shaft meets the transmission. If that’s it, I popped mine off. Doesn’t seem to have a purpose. Let me know what you learn. Mine is a Raptor R, so not sure if this is the same for the Raptor. It just rattles…
