GEN 1 I expect Gen 1 Raptors to hold their value or maybe even tick up with the new Raptor

SVT is gone and use to be limited now it's fpg and un limited.

I wouldn't say they are unlimited. There are still production limits as the performance lines with the exception of the GT are made along side the regular models, for the most part.

There will not be unlimited Raptor production, regardless of the name change. As for the other guy posting about his wonderful Subaru, why are you even here?

Yup. If they are importing to China and the Middle East, production will be off the charts.

The Gen 2 is nice, but I personally have no interest in getting one. Mines paid for and that's a great feeling. From what I can see on here, the price since my 2013 is at least $10,000 higher, if not a little more. That's crazy.

Now if they ever come in a few years with a 5.0 twin turbo, I might me tempted!

not saying you won't have to wait but they are not limiting production if you order one you will get one.

I understand the business reason behind the Ford Performance deal. I thought with the RS coming that would benefit the US market. I guess that didn't happen. It has helped get cars like the Mustang to Europe, where they are selling a shit ton. I hope the same thing doesn't happen with the Raptor.

Thats the thing with emerging markets, they tend to focus on them.

China, Middle East and Europe is what Ford is after, the popularity of the Mustang in Japan is unbelievable. Kind of like the STI, EVO or what the RS could have been here. It is and always has been a Europe car. The STI is a better car in every way. From my understanding the Ford Focus RS had to have its bumpers hand installed since it ran down the same assemble line as every other European RS. This caused delays, in the mean time I have a 2016 STI.

Ford like our government wants to focus on every other country other than their own. They can have that chit because their cars besides the F150 ain't worth a dam anyway.

anyone who believes values you will rise after the 2017s are released is slightly delusional. They will keep declining at the same rate or even quicker once the 17s are released.

You can predict that, and it's your opinion, but only time will tell how the value of a truck like this shakes out. It's the first of its kind and will always hold a bit of history.
