Look, we all agree more power is better especially if the MPGs are the same as has been reported.

And Ford is building the 6.2s so buyers will come (they have ordered many).

But the truth is the 5.4 has plenty of power and the 6.2 has more. There is no debate.

Those of us who have the 5.4 and are driving the Raptor know this truck has plenty of power and while more power would be nice it's impossible to justify trading in a 5.4 on a 6.2 from a financial standpoint. Vehicles are emotional purchases for many (not financial "investments") so it's likely that a number of 5.4 owners will step up to the 6.2s.

I don't think anybody is debating that Dan. I think was NoCa is asking, is for the negative spin/tone to stop (before it gets started). There's just no need.

I've got to admit guys. I've read and RE-read the posts in this thread, and I can't for the life of me see any signs of a slug-fest.

I applaud your intentions NC Diver, I really do.. for all the rea"Z"ons everyone else has said. Maybe there was a post that was deleted by the writer in a fit of remorse <G>.

In anycase... I guess what I am saying is that I feel that it is just as wrong and immature to be overzealous about post "tone" as it is to be posting immaturely. Hey, I am a retired Naval Officer... I am bound to be a bit Conservative <G>. But is gets my hackles up to see someone say "He said poop!" just as much as it does to see someone take a noob down in flames in a fit of self-righteous fervour.

One thing Esad did, by accident... is ban all the good people from the "Z". We got the best of his staff and the best of his membership. We are those good people, IMHO.

I love this board... I like the way we are all reasonable men (we GOTTA get some women members <G>) and can cuss and discuss things near and dear to our heart without getting our skivvies twisted. I don't want a milk-toast conversation... I want people to speak their minds with passion. I certainly do (can you tell?? <G>).

With due respect for each other's opinions, and the good grace to occasionally "Agree to Disagree" and lots of Grins <G> we will grow together.

Gheeze-o-pete... what did Mrs. Falcon put in the Easter ham? <GG>
