At this point, the only thing that asking dealers about availability and pricing will tell you is whether your dealer is a complete ****, or just a partial one.

They don't know anything more than any of us do about availability, so really all you're doing is letting them know that they have a hungry fish on the hook.

I have contacted four Ford dealerships across the United States asking if any of them would order me a 2017 Raptor Supercrew at invoice. One dealership which is closest to me stated the following:

"To purchase this vehicle via order or when they arrive there will be a mark up over MSRP just like there was last time. We would not be able to do one at or near invoice."


This dealership has always been the scum of Ford and I would never do business there, just thought I would see what their response would be.

The second dealership said he would put me on his list and would contact me once he knew more.

The third dealership said he would order me one at invoice.

The fourth dealership said he would order me one at invoice + 50 dollars.


I have no problem sharing the salesman names, just want to see if they hold true to their word. If I am successful in placing my order I will pass along the info. The only thing keeping me from ordering one is if the price is 60K+. I am hoping invoice is around 50-52K for a Supercrew.

Your doing really good if dealers are agreeing to invoice. I have contacted at least 7 dealers and the best anyone would possibly entertain was MSRP.

Ordering my 2017 F-350 tomorrow, and in July it should be raptor ordering time. F-350 at invoice, Raptor at invoice. I've had a good relationship with this dealership for 7 years now, bought my first F-150 from them in college.

Is the general consensus for invoice pricing still ~8.5-10% off msrp ? this model aside, just generally speaking...

There are plenty of threads about invoice pricing and which dealers do invoice. Do your homework and search.

There are 3 charges that most buyers don't take into account:

1 - destination and delivery from Detroit to your dealership ... for a 2015, it runs $1195

2 - full tank of gas .. yes the full tank is not free. Ford makes you pay. And this fee depends on current gas prices. In 2013 on my super-crew, I paid $128

3 - ADV or advertising fee. Yes Ford makes you pay of their advertising fee. In 2013, I paid $780. Can this be negotiated? The simple answer is NO. Mother Ford charges your dealership and your dealership charges you. And if you are able to negotiate this down, then it means your dealership just turns around and takes it out on your trade.

You might find our gen1 list handy. A few dealers always sell their vehicles near invoice which would save you another 4-5k off msrp

My dealer said ok to ordering G2 Raptor @ $1k over invoice.
I bought my G1 Raptor (2013) from same dealer @ $1k over invoice.

Also have Focus RS ordered for $1k over invoice.
Dealers still have profit at dealer invoice, so anything above that is extra.

Only downside is dealer has little to no allocations. However, I had no issues getting my '13 raptor built in timely manner.
