GEN 2 Ford ordering your truck?

Based on all the good research here, a viable route is to use one of the recommended dealers here and pay for shipping to your local ford dealer. Seems the most efficient and cost savings route when you consider your time and money?

I am in SC and so far have not found any in the upstate. My concern about shipping is the state tax not sure how it would work. It looks like NC has some possible dealers would I pay taxes for both states?

You should only be paying taxes for the state in which you reside - regardless of what state you purchase your vehicle in...

I have purchased New from dealers in WI & ND where they did not address tax, and was my responsibility to do at my IL secretary of state (DMV). One truck was shipped, I was not present, the other I signed ppwk and drove it back to IL. fyi

Same here. It's been my experience that tax is paid at the time of registration in the primary state where to vehicle will reside.
