The impression that I am getting is that they will not look at it until they know who is paying. Being the holidays it's hard to get anything done and comstantly waiting for a call back.

How did it roll off the transport?

Did it go flat at the dealership?

A local PA dealership just received a Raptor with scratch damage to one of the decals. It was not discovered until the customer took delivery, so the dealership is responsible, not the transporter (no Claim was filed).

Maybe just offer to pay the hourly rate for them to diagnose the problem, that way you can decide how you want to move forward? I mean, it wouldn't take very long to determine whether the tire holds air when inflated. If so, then great, drive off. If the tire is damaged, i'd have them inflate it and haul ass to the nearest tire store and replace it (definitely wouldn't give that dealership my business). If it's the wheel, well, now you have a decision to make for sure. Either way, for less than 100$ you'll know what your options are.

It's a tire, air it up, drive to nearest tire store (discount tire or NTB), order new tire if it goes flat again. I've never paid anything for them to inspect a tire at Discount Tire and they'd probably all drool over your new Raptor being that it's probably the first one they will see.

I'm amazed at the number of people that say he should just take it and fix it himself. Really? If you order a steak at a restaurant and its isn't cooked right, do you just eat it or do you send it back? You send it back. And that's a damn steak. We're talking about a $70k truck. It should be right when you get it or it should be made right at no cost as quickly as possible.

Yea it amazes me people are suggesting to take it to get repaired. It's a brand new 70k truck and I'm sure the tires are about 400 a pop. It's on the dealer to get it fixed.

I only suggested that because it sounds like he's dealing with a POS dealership. For me, I'd be willing to drop a little money just to not have the hassle and stress. He shouldn't have to do that, and the dealership should have already checked to see what the problem was. I was just suggesting what I would do in his situation. The tire would cost around 300$, which if he paid around msrp, is 0.4% of his current investment.

Hopefully he gets some resolution quickly.

He won't be able to do it. It won't pass PDI because of the tire obviously. They can't sell a vehicle like that.

Truck has a Full Size Spare. Have that thrown on and then can deal with sorting out the issue while already driving his new truck. Ford comes with roadside included so if dealer is being a **** and will not change it call ford roadside and have them send someone to the dealer to do it. Just a Bigger **** you to the dealer by doing that. Then you can leave the dealer a terrible ford survey when you get it sent to you and that will hurt them the most.
