Sounds like a bunch of vaporware to me. Please post back after you actually buy a vehicle, instead of stories about how many you are waiting in line for. Till then, I have a bridge in NY I can sell you too.

Same process as the last 3 vehicles I've ordered over the last 36 months. You mad bro?

HAHA..... not even worth arguing but I'll play. FYI you obviously didn't know what the market on these were at the time and are wrong about the current one. I'm going to enjoy my 10-20 grand extra in my pocket and drive one of my other vehicles until my Raptor comes in. I can assure you it will be sooner than that. I'm in line for one at $1,000 over invoice and am currently negotiating with another dealer who was happy to come down to 2k over invoice right off the bat.
I'm probably going with the latter as they have open allocations while the other is waiting for more. 2 days in the market for one and looking over the old under msrp thread was all it took.
The funny thing is you guys act like a $60k+ vehicle is some big **** swinging..... You can tell the Gen 2 brought in some of the "import" attitudes. I'm done. :mwah1:

What $10-20k are you talking about??? Even if you get it for $1k over invoice (which I doubt) then you will save about $4k max over those of us who paid msrp. But the additional msrp's increases over the initial 2017 msrp will eat away at any savings anyway. (So maybe a $1-2k saving). Also, even if true, good chance dealer is selling you a car they don't have or an allocation they are hoping for. Good luck even getting it by next year. You will learn the allocation game the hard way.

Post some pics when you get one. I wonder if camera technology will be much different by then. I'll probably be ready to trade mine in by then.

You do realize that there where "Tons" of 2017 Raptors sold at MSRP from the start. Not all the Truck dealers in the world marked them up. If you research on here you will see that some , not all bought at MSRP, and there are a few post where they paid under. This info will be way back in some of the 2016 post. I ordered mine 8/11/16 , Screw, Lightning Blue, loaded. MSRP. Got it 1/31/17, a little over 4500 miles with know issues, a little over 1000 of those miles have been in the dirt! Just my two cents worth.

Exactly.

MSRP deals have been out there since the beginning, you just had to put in a little legwork, be willing to make a lot of phone calls, or have a good dealer relationship. But you had to put in a little effort to find them.

Now there's a ton of "AVAILABLE AT MSRP" inventory that you can just readily call and get without even having to haggle. At this point, buyers should be haggling from MSRP to get something lower.

This thread can go on and on and a few have lost the point. Personally I was not in the market for one until 3 days ago. I don't think I've even been on this board in 2 years. OP posted a valid question and a few of you jump in and seemed to think under msrp won't be attainable for a long time. Msrp is all over the place without looking hard and lower prices can be had. I cannot buy an on lot truck as I'm looking for a scab in a new for 18 color. So I'm stuck to ordering one. I've done the allocation things before and I'm not new to this. If you look through the post I first mentioned the price differences between adm buyers and people who could get one under msrp. If I wanted a 2017 I could have ordered one at msrp around the corner from me or 1,000 over invoice from a dealer 200 miles away. There are members of this forum who did order from either of these dealers and got those same deals when the truck first came out. As usual there seems to be selective reading when posting. Enjoy your trucks and stop making this a gen 1 vs gen 2 thing.

Like I said in my first post if the Gen 2 had a **** he would suck it. He paid too much for his truck obviously and is offended others can find MSRP or lower all day long now. I agree the import crowd that is trying to cross over into the Raptor is straight retarded. Raptor on 22's with tint, Xpel and let's talk 0-60 at Cars and Coffee **** all that. The Gen 1 Raptors were 70-100K when they came out also. Even after they stopped making them in 2014 some dealers had them listed over 100K with little evidence they would make a 2nd Gen Raptor. Plus the idiots that act like the Gen 1 was lame and the Gen 2 is Raptor baby jesus have no idea or respect for the fact that without the Gen1 sales their little tuner **** boi truck wouldn't exist.

If you pay ADM for a Raptor IMO you're an idiot and there is no way around that, **** you money for not.

Spoken like a really stupid poor person.

My buddy spent $12k just to get custom wheels for his raptor. And as we speak he's on a private plane to st croix. $10-20k is like a rounding error to him and many others. It wouldn't be worth his time to travel 50 miles for a better deal. In fact, he never leaves his home for a car, they bring it to him to test drive.

Don't be a hater because you a po boy. Be happy with what you got. The gen1's are very nice.

^ Rounding error lol. I paid msrp and was happy to. Everything local was $10-20k marked up. I did find a couple in the next state over (AZ) for $2500 over msrp but they hap graphics pkg and weren't the color I wanted. So I just ordered one out of state, exactly how I wanted it. Should have it delivered in a couple weeks. I'm glad people pay over though as I feel it keeps the resale up. Hoping I love this truck though as I've never driven one. Eagerly waiting to compare it to my modded 2500 ctd
