JuggNuttz said:ive never heard of badlandz before till i got my DMH, but before you all jump on that bandwagon, just give Morrie a call from BakFactory Outlet. all i can say is its in your best interest to call him first before you order either cut-out. trust me
Are you getting a better deal through him or what? I already have mine and am happy but knowing if a better deal is to be had through Morrie would be good info for someone trying to decide what option to go with.
not saying if theres a savings or not.... but even if you really really want the Badlandz, call Morrie first and tell him about them. but i do know he is now an authorized DMH Vendor now. and he is a Supporting Vendor here....
DMH is far superior to Badlandz... Read some reviews.
I can perform a simple analysis off the pictures and prove it too..

-Notice the Y pipe. It is just a standard stainless painted black.
-Look at their actual electric cutout mechanism. It seems very "low tech". It even states that it is a "better alternative to DMH at a lower price". When a company has to name another just to get recognized, it seems cheaper. The mechanism on their standard e-cutout is small, simple and only has a 5 year guarantee
-Wiring looks similar to DMH and I would not worry too much about that
Welcome to DMH Performance!
-Notice the Y pipe. It is a flowtech and is powder coated with a more durable paint. I speak out of experience. I have had rocks and tons of shit hit that Y pipe and it is still looking GREAT
-The e-cutout is more of a valve looking mechanism. While this does cause concern in that it sometimes does not close entirely, it looks more complicated and thus more expensive. The motor on the cutout looks stronger and more durable.
I have never heard of Badlandz and I currently have DMH so I am somewhat biased, however DMH did take good care of me when I called. They know what the wiring needs are for the Raptor and this simplifies the process. For me, they even included more wiring than needed just to ensure I don't have an issue.
While they only have a 4 year guarantee, I have yet to have an issue and its been 9 months?
Call DMH first. If the 25$ price increase is a deterrent, then your best bet would be to talk to Badlandz. Or just get the option that does not include the flowtech...
