E cut out installed

So you did get the lo-pro cutout? Whats the advantage of that other than being up and out of the way? Any idea?

Yes went with the DMH low profile to keep as much clearance as possible just like the you tube vid posted on this thread with black truck.

now before I mess with wiring any tips on routing? I want to mount the button on the back of the aux switch plate. Does that plate just pop off?
Where should I penetrate the firewall to get plug out of truck?
Any tips???????

I pulled mine up through the grommet under the door sill, behind the kick panel, behind the glove box, etc.

I did the same thing, it was really simple. The aux switch plate will just pop right off, just grab it on the top and bottom and squeeze a bit and it'll pop out of there.

Just wanted to jump back in here and post that you need to remember to re-tighten your bolts on the cutout a few days after installing it. I jumped under mine and all my bolts were pretty much finger tight. Might be a good thing to check periodically too. :waytogo:

I did the Badlanzzhpe. It's an awesome set up and backed up by 5year warranty! But I had a nasty experience I wouldn't recommend the exhaust clamps if ur doing extreme high speed off roadIng I was at the San Felipe Baja 250 this past weeken and. I hit some sandy dune area and was kinda bumpy the clamps busted off and my exhaust wrapped arou my rear end ! It sux but didn't ruined my weeken I was able to cut it out ! Hack saw is a must to carry lol. I cut it off went to the local muffler shop and had them weld the muffle bak on for 40 bucks so. My suggestion is to ditch the clamps il post pics later
WELD It

i had the same problem, mine would fall off from time to time and i would grab another clamp and put it back on im glad i got it welded before something like that happened. the only othe problem ive had with it was setting peoples car alarms off

I haven't found an answer on this so far. But do the DMH cutouts void the factory warranty?
