It could only possibly void the warranty on teh exhaust system so who gives a shit...

Chop away.

If the stock exhaust winds up defective for some reason, just put an aftermarket on it.

I really don't think my dealer is going to give me the OK on the warranty being unaffected with a DMH cutout. Any suggestions/advice towards that?

DMH hands down are far more superior to craftsmanship AND warranty. SOMETIMES, when you think your motors are out....move the wires around the coil and see what happens. It is that wire that's held on by a zip-tie once you receive them, you'll notice. I been running them on my Lightning/Harley as a twin 3" setup on my JLP compR exhaust running close to 550/600. EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE when I needed service, DMH just sent me replacements in trust to cut back on waiting. Stand up guy/quality/hardware. Switch and wires are still top notch quality after 5-6 years. Only been through 3 sets of cut outs. Just install the y-pipe/cutout a little ways away from the headers to allow for heat dispersment simply because I notice the cooler, the longer them motors tend to last me. HINT : the first 2 sets were due to my mishaps! Hehe
