Exhaust Cutout - My conclusion

Well, ordered it on Monday, Driving with it on the truck today! Great service, and a really great product! I will say that the button is kinda chinsy, and could use a better solution, but the cutout is really made well. The hardest part for me was the fact you have to drive it and get all the parts to temperature, and then completely cool off before you use it.

I drove it home from install, couldnt indulge, so after dinner I made an excuse to drive somewhere with the family in the truck, and as I opened it up, my wife threatened to jump out of the truck moving....she was mortified....AWESOME!! Meanwhile, my 18 month old son was in his seat laughing the whole time! LOVED IT!

I've had my cutout since April? Or may? And never heard or done this. My practice is to open it up whenever it's not raining. And close it at night cause I leave my car outside.

As far as allowing for parts to heat up and cool down for it to work is not true

The instructions clearly state NOT TO OPEN IT before you get your exhaust to normal operating temp, and then let it cool off one time to allow the valve to cure.

Not everytime you drive, just one time after you install it.
